The Elephant Project is working to protect 5,000 timber elephants and wild elephants in Myanmar that are facing death from the hands of poachers for their ivory and skin. 100% of profits from each purchase will go into elephant protection and conservation efforts in Myanmar.

This product was handmade for The Elephant Project in Myanmar by Pann Nann Ein which means ‘Creative Royal Home’. The organization is a local foundation in Yangon that helps people with physical and mental disabilities to achieve sustainable livelihoods. The organization works closely with its members to help them produce handmade products that truly reflect the uniqueness of Myanmar culture through the design and materials used.

All of the group members are guaranteed a fair price for their work that helps them invest continually in their lives and in their local communities.
